Retail Design Expert Launches Fixtures Blog

Retail fixture design expert Tony Kadysewski last week launched Fixtures Close Up, a blog that highlights innovative fixtures through photographic documentary of these fixtures in use across the entire range of retailing.

“I regularly scout fixtures over a three-state area and report internally on anything unique and unusual,” said Kadysewski, who in his day job serves as Trion Industries’ marketing communications manager. “Many of the fixtures found exhibit interesting and creative ideas, but are not necessarily part of Trion's mainline offerings. So the information is perfectly suited for a blog to the industry in general. Both working in merchandising fixtures and having a young wife who loves to shop keep me in stores a great deal and well supplied with ideas. The end result is Fixtures Close Up.”

The site’s posts can be viewed by fixture category, such as shelf edge fixtures, anti-theft and security fixtures, or can be viewed by retail channel.
