    Rosauers Launches Pricing Initiative with Revionics

    The Web-based software will give the grocer day-to-day flexibility with price and promotion strategy.

    Rosauers Supermarkets plans to deploy price optimization and promotion software to analyze consumer demand data and competitor pricing, and enhance customer-responsive pricing in its stores.

    The grocer will use the Revionics Advanced Pricing Systems (RAPS), which is offered through a software-as-a-service deployment model that users access via the Internet.

    "We believe that the system is going to help us do a much better job anticipating the everyday and promotional pricing needs and expectations of our customers," said Jeff Philipps, Rosauers' c.e.o.

    Spokane, Wash.-based Rosauers operates 22 stores in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
