    Sabra Celebrates the Season

    Hummus maker bows special-edition varieties for holidays

    Sabra Dipping Co., the top hummus manufacturer in the United States, has released its first-ever limited-edition hummus for the holiday season. The Rosemary, Olive Oil and Sea Salt flavors of Sabra’s Season’s Finest hummus line aim to add a special festive touch to Christmas and Hanukkah get-togethers.

    The task of selecting the limited-edition hummus flavors fell to the 2011 Sabra Tastemaker panel, a group of influential bloggers, food lovers, and thought leaders who provide feedback to the White Plains, N.Y.-based company. Through a blind taste test, the panel decided that the Rosemary, Olive Oil and Sea Salt varieties were most delicious and appropriate for the holidays.

    “We review feedback from our consumers [and have let] our Tastemaker panel represent them and choose this new flavor for the market,” noted Sabra Chief Marketing Officer Ken Kunze. “The robust and creamy blend is really delicious.”

    Boasting a specially designed metallic foil packaging, Season’s Finest hummus comes table-ready from the grocery store. The product line’s label features a seasonal design, making it perfect for to serve at parties or to give as a gift.

    Season’s Finest hummus is available in a 17-ounce size at grocery stores in the Pacific Northwest, New England and New York metro area, and in a 25-ounce size at Sam’s Clubs across the country through early January. All Sabra Hummus varieties are gluten-free and certified kosher.
