Sam's Club Joins Forces with Food Network Kitchens for Big Game Party Tips

BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Wal-Mart division Sam's Club is kicking off the playoffs by helping football fans meet their food and party needs with its "Big Game Playbook."

Restaurateurs and cookbook authors Jamie & Bobby Deen, sons of Food Network celebrity Paula Deen, are included in the playbook, along with a special pizza recipe for Sam's Club that "brings a new twist to a game day tradition," according to the warehouse club operator.

Sam's Club is offering the playbook free to members and guests in its stores or at samsclub.com/biggame.

"We designed our playbook for the home team quarterback -- who is often mom -- but whoever takes on the challenge of throwing a party this season will have both a great defense and offensive strategy resulting in the ultimate lineup for a party," said Dante Anderson, v.p. at Sam's Club, in a statement.

The playbook also includes unofficial but common sense explanations for football terminology, touchdown trivia, and halftime games.
