Save-A-Lot CEO, CPG Execs to Speak at St. Joe's Summit

PHILADELPHIA -- Saint Joseph's University's food marketing department here is hosting a food industry summit, "Food On Demand: Battle for Share of the Stomach," on March 6, which will feature presentations from Bill Shaner, president and c.e.o. of Save-A-Lot; Hank Mullany, s.v.p. and president, Northeast Division of Wal-Mart; Kevin Havelock, president of Unilever U.S.; Alan Wilson, president and c.e.o. of McCormick & Co., Inc.; and Mark Allen, president & c.e.o. of International Food Distributors Association.

The summit invites attendees to collaborate on industry issues and share their expertise in food commerce, with a focus on "food on demand," a popular trend in the food industry with workdays getting longer and families getting busier.
