Throughout October, SeaPak Shrimp Co. is celebrating National Seafood Month with a family festival dubbed “Poptoberfest” in honor of the brand’s best-selling Popcorn Shrimp and its latest product rollout, Popcorn Fish. Hosted on SeaPak’s Facebook page and website, the promotion encourages families to enjoy meals together and make time for fun activities.
The Facebook page offers games and surveys, including “Pop” quizzes and “Fishing Polls,” that rotate each week of the month. Visitors can also send SeaPak “Messages in a Bottle,” and have a shot at winning a range of prizes and special product coupons being given away each week.
“SeaPak is all about the family, and Poptoberfest is guaranteed to bring some family fun to the month of October,” noted Scott Corey, senior marketing manager at the Saint Simons Island, Ga.-based company, which is owned by Rich Products Corp. “Not only are we sharing interactive games with our fans, but we’re also offering chances to win giveaways and product coupons that make feeding the family and spending time together a bit more affordable.”
Modeled after the brand’s Popcorn Shrimp, SeaPak Popcorn Fish are round breaded bites cut from whole, flaky pollock fillets.
