    Sellers Bros. to Deploy In-store Financial Services Solution

    The independent grocer is working with AllTrust Retail on the initiative

    Following a successful pilot, independent grocer Sellers Bros. plans to deploy the Connect POS and Paycheck Secure check cashing service from Herndon, Va.-based AllTrust Retail at all 12 Sellers Bros. grocery stores.

    Sellers Bros. will use the solution to consolidate and automate its existing paper-based reconciliation processes for financial services. The Retail Connect POS platform provides Sellers Bros. with an all-in-one platform that Sellers has optimized for its particular financial services.

    "Retail Connect POS has really improved our day-to-day financial service operations,” said owner David Sellers. “Deploying a system that consolidated all our financial services on one platform was critical. Today we are more confident in our check cashing operations and can now offer our customers a comprehensive suite of financial services that meets their needs."

    According to AllTrust, installing Paycheck Secure has minimized management oversight of the check cashing service and better assists Sellers in preventing fraud and eliminating the risks associated with check cashing. The AllTrust platform has consolidated services into a robust solution with a small footprint by combining Retail Connect POS, the Paycheck Secure check cashing system, and the providers of bill pay and money transfer services into one system.

    Sellers Bros. is a family-owned and -operated retail grocery chain that serves Houston, Texas.
