    Sour Punch Launches In-store Punchies Sweeps

    Grand prize includes trip for 4 to Orlando, Fla.

    To support national distribution for its new sour candy, Punchies, the Sour Punch brand has launched an in-store promotion sweepstakes at all retail locations through Aug. 30, 2013.

    The “Lucky Punchies Sweepstakes” includes special in-store displays and packaging featuring QR codes that consumers can scan with a mobile device to access the instant win game and unlock an entry form.

    One grand-prize winner will receive a trip for four to a theme park in Orlando, Fla., including round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and exclusive theme park benefits. Additionally, 195 first-place winners will receive a Punchies “Back to School” prize pack, including a backpack, water bottle, t-shirt and Punchies candy.

    Additional support for the Punchies candy launch includes a 15-second national cable commercial, an augmented reality social game on Facebook, “Sour Punch Drop Zone,” and new Sour Punch and Punchies websites, as well as online banners, promotions and sponsored content.
