NASCAR’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the Tender Ridge Angus beef No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Mustang, will celebrate Father’s Day weekend by racing for the checkered flag with his dad cheering him on.
Spartan Stores and Tender Ridge Angus beef are the lead sponsors of the No. 6 car at the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Michigan International Speedway on June 18.
“Our family’s Father’s Day tradition is to celebrate with a race and tender steaks on the grill,” Stenhouse Jr. said. “We’re excited to have Tender Ridge Angus beef and Spartan Stores as part of our team this weekend.”
This Father’s Day, the Stenhouses won’t be the only family enjoying steaks and exchanging gifts. With each purchase of Tender Ridge Angus beef at Spartan Stores, shoppers have the opportunity to win Ricky Stenhouse Jr. No. 6 racing gear by entering their on-pack racing code at www.TenderRidgeAngus.com.
While traveling around the country during race season, the Stenhouse family always finds time for a great steak. Although his son is in the driver’s seat on race day, Stenhouse Sr. still grabs the grilling tongs and chooses his favorite steak rub. “I leave the driving to him so I can man the grill,” Stenhouse Sr. remarked.
Spartan Stores shoppers and NASCAR fans can follow the race results on the brand’s Facebook page.
