Sprouts Farmers Market will debut its third Austin, Texas, location in Rollingwood on Oct. 16 at the Mira Vista Shopping Center, and will open a fourth area store in Great Hills this coming January.
Since Texas’ state capital has been the pulse of the natural foods movement for nearly three decades, thanks to the location of Whole Foods Market’s corporate headquarters, growing new Sprouts stores in the city and its surrounding communities is a top priority for Sprouts, which hopes to be Austin’s natural alternative for residents’ grocery needs.
“Our third location in the Austin metro market [will] provide Rollingwood and surrounding communities with affordable healthy food choices,” said Doug Sanders, president and COO of Phoenix-based Sprouts.
The 27,800-square-foot market was designed to offer customers a bright, easy-to-shop store offering natural, organic and family-friendly food selections. According to Rubin Gamino, Rollingwood Sprouts store manager, “Community members have already shown enthusiasm and support for our anticipated opening.”
Sprouts operates 41 markets in Arizona, California, Texas and Colorado.
