Tyson Fresh Meats, the Dakota Dunes, S.D.-based beef and pork business of Tyson Foods, Inc., is firing up the summer grilling season with a sweepstakes offering consumers a chance to win “A Real American Adventure.”
The adventure starts in backyards across the United States, when consumers place Star Ranch Angus beef on their grills, and continues with a chance to win the trip of a lifetime to a top U.S. destination. The promotion has been rolled out to approximately 500 stores.
The winner of the sweepstakes will receive a trip for four to one of the following iconic American landmarks of their choice: Mount Rushmore, the Smithsonian museums in Washington, the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone National Park. Consumers can pick up an entry form post card in stores carrying Star Ranch Angus beef to enter the sweepstakes.
“Star Ranch Angus beef is produced only in the U.S.,” noted Rick Janke, brand manager for Springdale, Ark.-based Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. “We are very proud to offer our consumers a ‘real American’ beef product they can feel good about for all of their grilling occasions this summer.”
Participating retailers are promoting the sweepstakes via posters, table tents, ad circulars and radio spots. Announcements will also be made on the Star Ranch Angus beef Web site to spread the word throughout America.
