Stater Bros. Markets yesterday completed a $1.3 million remodel and expansion of its Bloomington store, which remained open during the entire remodel process.
"Our newly remodeled supermarket will better serve our customers and the community of Bloomington," said Jack H. Brown, chairman and c.e.o. of Stater Bros.
Stater Bros. said the enhancements include:
--Full-service fresh seafood department
--A new floral department with experts to help with the preparation and selection of fresh-cut flowers, bouquets, arrangements, potted plants, and home decor items
--New interior lighting, flooring, and design
--New energy efficient lighting and refrigerated cases
--An expanded full-service meat department
--An expanded delicatessen offering a selection of fresh salads, premium deli meats, a variety of domestic and imported cheeses, and meals-to-go
--An expanded bakery featuring freshly baked La Brea Fine Artisan Breads and rolls, desserts, premium ice cream cakes, and custom-made decorated cakes for all occasions including picture cakes
--An expanded produce department with over 800 items including an organic selection
Stater Bros. operates 165 supermarkets, and employs more than 19,000 associates.
