Stew Leonard's Garden Centers Sprout New Workshops
Stew Leonard's is once again offering free Saturday morning workshops at its Danbury and Norwalk, Conn. and Yonkers, N.Y. Garden Center locations, on what it called “an extended schedule, with new, cutting-edge topics, including organic gardening, native plant species, and special landscapes.”
While not taking part in the workshops, Stew Leonard’s fourth store in Newington, Conn. will hold other gardening seminars throughout the season, said the grocer.
The workshops will run through Oct. 4, Norwalk-based Stew Leonard’s said. Its Garden Centers officially opened this month, offering what it said are hundreds of native flowers, vegetable bedding plants, hanging baskets, annuals, trees, and shrubs, in addition to planting tools.
