SuperFresh Reopens in Philly Area
MONTVALE, N.J. -- SuperFresh, a banner of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. here, is today reopening its store at the The Ivy Ridge Shop Center in Roxborough, Pa.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony kicks off a three-day in-store celebration including expanded product sampling, special sales, and a DJ. Also on hand will be Liz Scott of the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, who will receive a check for $187,000 from A&P.
Among the features and amenities of the 47,288-square-foot store are an in-store pharmacy and the opportunity for customers to enroll in the "Live Better Wellness Program," an exclusive A&P program offering discounted prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
The SuperFresh division of A&P operates 76 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Like its sister A&P and Waldbaum's banners, the division is rolling out a new "Fresh" prototype.
