Supervalu last week cut about 90 jobs at its corporate headquarters locations, including about 25 in Boise, according to published reports. The Minneapolis-based retailer/distributor also said it's leaving unfilled about 60 jobs.
The displaced corporate employees will receive severance pay, outplacement assistance and continuation of health insurance benefits.
Supervalu on Jan. 14 announced plans to undertake several cost-cutting efforts in its upcoming fiscal quarter, including cutting jobs and closing about 50 stores.
