PrintPG Names 2011 Top Women in Grocery Winners

Progressive Grocer has named 141 new Top Women in Grocery award winners, who are featured prominently in the leading trade publication’s June 2011 issue and who will be honored at a gala cocktail and dinner celebration on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare, 5300 N. PG’s 2011 Top Women in Grocery, a full list of whom appears below, once again hail from three categories: Senior-Level Executives (open to retailers, suppliers and wholesalers with titles of VP or higher); Rising Stars (retailers, suppliers and wholesalers with job titles above store manager, but below VP); and Store Managers.

“Over the years that we’ve solicited nominees for our annual Top Women in Grocery honor, our editorial staff has never ceased to be amazed at the level of dedication, talent, expertise and sheer determination demonstrated by those whose names are submitted by appreciative colleagues and vendor partners,” said PG’s editor-in-chief, Meg Major.”Our 2011 Top Women in Grocery honorees are a special bunch, and we are proud to pay tribute to all they do to advance the industry and the communities that they serve.”
