Food Lion is now offering its MVP cardholding customers a Southern Living magazine guide of seasonal recipes and tips to help shoppers entertain family and friends in festive style. The offer runs through Dec. 27.

Customers can get the guide by presenting their MVP card to the cashier at checkout, as well as spending a minimum of $35 and buying one specially marked Kraft Foods or ConAgra Foods product. The guides are available at the Southern Living Holiday Chimney display near the front of every Food Lion store, while supplies last. Customers are limited to one guide per shopping trip.

The 48-page “Our Best Holiday Desserts” features ideas for preparing cakes, pies, cookies and many other special holiday treats. The guide also includes special Food Lion coupons.

Operating more than 1,100 supermarkets and employing about 57,000 associates, Salisbury, N.C.-based Food Lion is a subsidiary of Delhaize America, the U.S. division of Delhaize Group based in Brussels, and operates more than 1,100 supermarkets.
