Just Born, Inc., the makers of Peeps Brand Marshmallow Candies, will continue its annual tradition of donating Peeps Prize Packages to support media, art organizations and university-sponsored Peeps diorama and art contests this Easter. Additionally, Peeps & Company, Just Born’s retail group, will provide a range of Peeps-themed prizes for contests nationwide in which thousands of fans will display their creativity.

“Peeps art competitions now date back over 10 years. Our fans thrive on creating Peeps inspired artwork and recipes to share with their family and friends,” said Mark Hoffman, senior brand manager of Bethlehem, Pa.-based Peeps. “We appreciate that they are expressing their PEEPSonality and their creativity amazes us!”

Packages available to media, art organizations and university contest hosts include:

Peeps Inside We’re All the Same Prize Pack ($100 value) -- Includes a case of Peeps marshmallow bunnies, a Peeps embroidered hat, a Peeps cappuccino mug, a Peeps mouse pad, a Peeps magnetic memo pad and a $40 electronic gift card to Peeps & Company.

Peeps Supersized Craft & Recipe Prize Pack ($50 value) -- Includes a supersized box of Peeps marshmallow chicks, a Peeps recipe and craft book and a $15 electronic gift card to Peeps & Company.

Cuddle Up with Peeps Prize Pack ($25 value) -- Includes a Peeps plush chick basket and a $10 electronic gift card to Peeps & Company.

Among the media outlets, universities and art institutions that have signed up include: The Washington Post, Pioneer Press, The Denver Post, The Carroll County Arts Council and Macalester College. A full listing of contests and internet links will be available online.

In addition to entering local contests, Peeps encourages fans to share their Peeps-inspired art on the brand’s Facebook page.
