Save-A-Lot Expands in Midwest
Save-A-Lot stores in Columbus, Ohio, and Wabash, Ind., will open tomorrow. St. Louis-based Save-A-Lot will open a new store at 2200 Mock Road in Columbus. It’s the seventh store in the city for the Supervalu-owned hard discount chain. The Minneapolis-based Supervalu plans to add 40 Save-A-Lot locations in fiscal year 2013. In related news, T.W.F. Holding Co. Inc. will bow a new Save-A-Lot store in Wabash, Ind. Located at 950 Cass Street, the store will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. Save-A-Lot operates more than 1,300 stores in 39 states from Maine to California.
