Hain Celestial Helping Families Make Better Food, Fitness Choices

PrintHain Celestial Helping Families Make Better Food, Fitness Choices

The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. is encouraging family health, fitness and togetherness this back-to-school season with two offerings through Sept. 30: The Family Fitness Fun Challenge, at www.TakeaHealthyBite.com, offers fitness-minded families savings on the company’s natural and organic products, and consumers can send in register receipts from their purchases of those items to receive Sports Authority Gift Cards for use in buying sporting equipment and athletic gear to help parents and kids stay in shape.

“The goal is to get children active and address the issue of childhood obesity by providing families the support they need -- healthful, wholesome foods and ideas and motivation for physical activity,” explained Maureen Putman, chief marketing officer, grocery and snacks at Melville, N.Y.-based Hain Celestial. “Parents can count on Hain Celestial’s extensive offering of natural and organic foods and beverages to provide the variety, nutrition and flavors that they value.”

In the Family Fitness Fun Challenge, families log total hours spent taking part in fitness and outdoor activities for the opportunity to print high-value coupons for Hain Celestial products. The site offers activity, meal and snack ideas to help parents improve their families’ overall health.

After buying $10 or more worth of participating products, consumers can mail in a redemption form, available on specially marked packages of the manufacturers’ products or online, to receive a $5 gift card; if they send in $20 or more in receipts, they’ll get a $10 gift card. Shoppers will additionally receive over $5 in coupons for participating brands, among them Garden of Eatin’ snacks, Soy Dream and Almond Dream non-dairy beverages, Health Valley Organic cereals and bars, MaraNatha nut butters, and Earth's Best Sesame Street, Earth’s Best Tots and Earth's Best Kidz products and frozen foods.
