Walkers Shortbread has combined two Scottish originals -- shortbread and golf -- with its new Turnberry Golf Course Tin and Golfing Carton depicting the Old Course at St. Andrews. Retailing for a suggested $22, the 17.6-ounce collector’s tin celebrating Turnberry, home of this year’s 2009 British Open, offers four varieties of cookies in the shapes of Fingers, Rounds, Ovals and Triangles, while a painting of The Old Course at St. Andrews, the world’s oldest established golf course, adorns an 8.8-ounce carton containing Fingers, Rounds and Triangles, which retails for a suggested $7.99. The products were recently exhibited at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York. More information is available at www.walkersus.com.
