    Wholey Seafood Brings ‘Seaphistication’ to Dining

    A promotional campaign supports the debut of Boil in the Bag entrees.

    Wholey Seafood, has launched a marketing campaign to support the rollout of its Boil in the Bag Seafood Entrees. Developed by Troy, Mich.-based agency SMZ, the campaign encompasses in-store materials, a new website at wholeyseafood.com, online banner ads and free-standing coupon inserts. Materials employ the theme “Seafood with Saucy Seaphistication.”

    The launch highlights the information that each entree requires minimal prep time and cleanup, and is ready to eat in 15 minutes or less. The selections pair farm-raised tilapia, shrimp or Norwegian salmon with sauces created exclusively for Wholey Seafood by Irish Provenance. Additional sauce comes with each entrée to be used on an accompanying side dish.

    “These Boil in the Bag Seafood Entrees are in a category all their own,” noted Jerry Newport, director of national sales at Wholey Seafood, a division of Warren, Mich.-based KLT Global. “Nothing like them exist in the marketplace.” Newport characterized the line as “a product that makes it easy to enjoy restaurant-quality seafood at home with virtually no work.”
