Winn-Dixie has launched a chain-wide online e-coupon program allowing customers to load paperless coupons directly onto their Winn-Dixie Reward Cards for easy in-store redemption.
Customers can join the program by going online to register their cards with a username and password. They can then view the coupons, which are displayed with descriptions of each item and valid dates, before loading them to their cards. Shoppers can save as many as 99 coupons on a card for discounts on their preferred items. Then, when checking out at Winn-Dixie, they swipe their cards at the point of purchase, and all relevant coupon savings are automatically applied.
“In an uncertain economic climate, being able to save simply is paramount, which is why we designed the Winn-Dixie e-coupons program to serve our customers’ evolving needs by helping them earn great savings with a convenient, paperless and hassle-free experience,” noted Robert Onstead, senior manager of digital marketing at Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie, a subsidiary of Mauldin, S.C.-based Bi-Lo Holding, which, under the Bi-Lo and Winn-Dixie banners, employs 63,000 associates in 688 grocery stores and 493 in-store pharmacies.
Winn-Dixie’s other savings programs include fuelperks!, weekly Make-A-Meal and What-A-Deal features, Baby Club, and Buy-one-get-one offers.
