Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. now offers the fuelperks! rewards program at its two stores in Palm Coast, Fla. The program enables customers using the newly redesigned Customer Reward Card (CRC) can earn considerable gas savings at participating Shell stations. Required to earn and redeem fuel rewards, the CRC now features a magnetic strip on the back, similar to a debit or credit card.
For every $50 in qualified purchases that shoppers make using CRCs at Winn-Dixie, they get a five-cent-per-gallon discount at participating Shell stations. Additionally, fuelperks! Rewards are stackable, meaning that the more customers spend, the more they earn. For instance, if a customer spends $100, she earns 10 cents per gallon, if she spends $150, she earns 15 cents per gallon, and so on.
Palm Coast shoppers will not only save on gas, but also receive other continuing fuelperks! deals, among them weekly Bonus Rewards items and Winn-Dixie’s current triple fuelperks! promotion. Under the promotion, which runs through Dec. 31, customers using their CRCs will save 15 cents per gallon of gas for every $50 in purchases from Winn-Dixie’s gift card mall —three times the normal discount.
“We have [already] seen great success of the program in northeast Florida, southeast Georgia, Panama City, New Orleans, Lafayette and Baton Rouge, and our customers have saved nearly $9 million by participating in the program,” noted Mary Kellmanson, group VP of marketing for Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie.
“It’s never been easier for consumers to save on Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines, including Shell V-Power premium gasoline,” added Dan Little, fuels marketing manager at Houston-based Shell North America.
Participating Shell stations in Flagler County, where Palm Coast is located, can be found at 2 Boulder Rock Drive, Palm Coast; 320 Palm Coast Parkway, Palm Coast; 700 South Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach; and 5 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast
