Winn-Dixie, Jacksonville Jaguars Kick Off Annual Food Drive
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With the help of Winn-Dixie and the Jacksonville Jaguars football team, Jacksonville's Second Harvest Food Bank is stocking its shelves over the next four weeks to build its inventory in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Jaguars' 13th Annual Food Drive kicked off earlier this week. Through Nov. 18, consumer can donate nonperishable items at any Winn-Dixie store throughout the First Coast in designated barrels provided by the Food Bank.
Last year during the annual food drive, these two organizations helped raise more than 213,000 pounds of food for Second Harvest.
