JACKSONVILLE, Fla. and CERRITOS, Calif. -- Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. has reached an agreement with Cerritos, Calif.-based retail marketing provider Mass Connections, whereby Mass Connections will promote products for the retailer via in-store events, incorporating point-of-sale (POS) materials and buzz marketing.
"After much due diligence, we selected MC as our in-store event provider because their program offers more capabilities and expertise than any company," said Dave Henry, s.v.p. of marketing for Winn-Dixie, in a statement. "The MC labor model is sustainable, secure, and attracts the highest quality employees who are continually background checked and performance monitored."
Mass Connections said it organizes 30,000 sampling events annually.
