Wolfgang Puck Rolls Out 'Red Carpet' Recipe Contest

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck has debuted the Wolfgang Puck Soups Red Carpet Recipe Contest, which tasks fans with creating an original recipe featuring a Wolfgang Puck soup, for the chance of winning a day working as his sous chef at the 2011 Grammy Celebration party (the official Grammy after-party); two tickets to the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011; airfare to Los Angeles; a four-day, three-night stay at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa; and a VIP dinner for two at Puck’s famous Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills.

To enter, fans must submit an original recipe and upload a photograph of the finished dish to www.facebook.com/wolfgangpuck. Each entry should use one of the soup line’s 17 restaurant-quality varieties, which include Tomato Basil Bisque, Signature Tortilla, Signature Butternut Squash and Hearty Garden Vegetable. The soups contain no artificial ingredients, no preservatives and no added MSG, and gluten-free selections are available.

“Cooking is a wonderful way to express your creativity,” said Puck. “I celebrate the best ingredients -- whether I'm cooking for my family, at one of my restaurants or at a glamorous Hollywood event. I can’t wait to see what soup lovers across the country create!”

Entries can be submitted through Jan. 13, 2011, and the winning recipe will be unveiled Feb. 1, 2011, on WolfgangPuck.com and the aforementioned Facebook page.
