Sprouts Farmers Market to Open 10 New Stores in Q2

Sprouts Farmers Market has revealed plans to open 10 new stores in the second quarter of 2015, including the retailer's first stores in Tennessee and Missouri.

Sprouts' new locations, which follow the news of an additional 10 stores to open in Q1, will open in Fort Worth, Texas; Hoover, Ala.; Kansas City, Mo.; Lakeland, Tenn.; Lawrence, Kan.; Owasso, Okla.; Peoria, Ariz.; San Rafael, Calif.; Smyrna, Ga.; and Wheat Ridge, Colo.

Each of the Phoenix-based grocer's new locations will feature fresh produce, dairy, meat and seafood, and bakery departments, as well as an eclectic beer and wine section, vitamins and supplements, and a variety of natural, organic and gluten-free groceries.

Each store will bring an estimated 100 jobs to their respective communities, according to Sprouts, with grand-opening dates to be unveiled later this year.

Sprouts Farmers Market currently operates more than 190 stores in 10 states and employs more than 17,000 associates.
